Kofta is a family of meatball or meatloaf dishes found in cuisine throughout the sub-region of India, the South Caucasus, the Middle East, the Balkans and Central Asia. In its simplest form, koftas consist  of mini meatballs.

Potato Koftas:


Cook potatoes. Peel and mash. 

Add 3 to 4 slices of  soaked, squeezed bread.

Add finely cut mint leaves, onions, coriander leaves, lemon juice,salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, garam masala powder and pepper powder.

Knead well and make koftas. Deep fry till crisp.

 

Bread Koftas:


Soak bread slices one by one in milk or water,squeeze milk or  water completely. 

Mash well add coriander leaves, mint leaves, finely chopped onions, chilli powder, garam masala powder and bread crumbs.

Mix well and make small balls. Deep fry till brown color.

 

Paneer Koftas:


Paneer and mix finely chopped onion,salt, 3 tbsp of maida, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, dry mango powder (1/4 tsp, garam masala powder and pepper powder (1/4 tsp).

Make balls and deep fry.

 

Raw Banana Koftas:


Steam raw banana in microwave or pan or pressure cooker for 10 minutes.

Cool and then peel skin and mash.

Add finely cut mint leaves, onions, coriander leaves, lemon juice,salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, garam masala powder and pepper powder.

Knead well and make koftas. Deep fry till crisp.
