MEXICAN DIP

Ingredients:

  • Tomato salsa - 1 cup
  • Sour cream - 1 cup
  • Grated Cheese - 1 cup (cheddar cheese (or) Zucchini Cheese)
  • A pinch of salt

Method:

Preheat the oven to 100°C 

In a microwave safe bowl, spread the tomato salsa at the bottom, then pour a layer of sour cream on it.

Top with grated cheddar cheese and microwave at 100% power for 5 minutes or till the cheddar cheese has melted.

Serve this as a dip for sandwiches , burgers and chips.

 

 

GINGER YOGURT DIP

(ginger yogurt dip, yogurt dip recipe,yogurt dip for chips,yogurt dip for tortilla chips,yogurt dip recipe Indian,yogurt dip at home,,greek yogurt french onion dip,savory yogurt dip)

 

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt - 3 cups
  • Ginger - 2 tsp (finely chopped)
  • Mint leaves - 1/4 cup (coarsely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (coarsely chopped)
  • Fresh chilli pepper -  1 (coarsely chopped)
  • Onion -1 (thinly sliced)
  • Cumin seed powder - 1/2 tsp
  • A pinch of sugar
  • Salt to taste 

Method:

Place mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger and chilli pepper in  a food processor and process until finely chopped.

In a bowl , whisk yogurt. Add onion, cumin seed powder and chopped herb mixture. Mix well and season with salt and sugar.

Note:

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
